Simply BEWARE. Their delicious popcorn destroyed a tooth which even abscessed costing me my Christmas.
The financial damages will eventually be around $6,000.00 minimum after the temporary cap, abscess, root canal, several dental professionals, and a permanent crown.
The destructive kernels were unpopped and embedded in popped corn where we couldn't see them. The tin was full of kernels, but the ones embedded were the dangerous one since there was no way to know they were there. I still have a ziplock bag of them I'm holding for the future if I sue.
They know they did it; yet, their insurance company and CNA denied the claim before my dentist and endodontist even filed it.
The way they handled it was totally unethical. Their local agent even gave me his word he'd help (which he did not), so we know what his word is worth now. Dealing with CNA, save your time and have an intelligent conversation with your cat.
The company is Savannah Candy Kitchen (located in several areas) and savannahCandy.com.
